China Growth
In the early 2000s and for at least a decade, I traveled around China to witness the changes brought about by economic growth. There was excess, cohabitation of eras, dreams, the destruction of the past for the construction of the new. This suddenness was visible in the made the bewilderment of people. I was hoping for something better, a credible alternative, I am now skeptical about the outcome.
Au début des années 2000 et pendant une décennie, j’ai parcouru la Chine régulièrement pour témoigner des changements qui s’y produisainent. Il y avait de la démesure, des rêves, de la croissance, de la cohabitation des époques. Cette soudaineté rendait visible l’égarement des gens. J’espérais un mieux, que la Chine soit une alternative, j’en sors perplexe.
