Cycling Tours
Cycling races are a magnificent playground for a photographer. The effort of the riders, the landscapes passing by, getting off the motorbike in an instant, a bustling crowd so close to you, without wasting time and then moving on, overtaking the peloton, for just a few images per day. For two years, at the request of the UCI and A.S.O, I was on the back of a motorbike in 10 countries on every continents and on 5 Tours de France, resulting in two books published together.
Les courses cyclistes constituent un magnifique terrain de jeu pour un photographe. L’effort des coureurs, les décors qui défilent, descendre de la moto en un instant, une foule en effervescence, repartir, dépasser le peloton pour finalement n’avoir que quelques images par jour. Pendant 2 ans à la demande de l’UCI et ASO, dans 10 pays, sur tous les continents et 5 fois sur le tour de France à l’arrière d’une moto pour deux livres publiés ensemble.
